renovation complete in '08Novotel Twin Waters Resort unveils multi-million dollar sea change on the Sunshine Coast |

The builders have gone, the hoardings have come down and the curtain is now raised on a multi-million dollar renovation project that marks the rebirth of Queensland's popular Novotel Twin Waters Resort.
Two years in the making, the Novotel's multi-million dollar refurbishment has been worth the wait, revealing a sophisticated new look and feel in line with the resort's reputation as the Sunshine Coast's premier business and leisure destination.
The resort's General Manager Wayne Greenwood reports that keen interest in Novotel Twin Waters is a direct result of the upgrade, has contributed to what is now shaping up to be the hotels best performing sales year in almost two decades. It certainly shows with the resort being awarded Accor Hotel Of The Year for 2008.
Novotel Twin Waters Resort is enjoying its best year in 19 years, he says. The refurbishment has touched on every aspect of resort life from rooms and reception to restaurants for a look that's relaxed, revitalilsed and refreshed - exactly the way we want our guests to feel.
The last phase of the 4.5 star Novotel's much anticipated update (overseen by Aaron Parfitt of Isis Hotel Projects) has officially drawn to a close with the re-launch its final installment - a new restaurant and bar - updating iconic eatery Zanths and adjacent watering hole, Mel Bar for a new generation of visitors. New names reflect the new look outlets to become Nouveau Restaurant and Aqua Lounge + Bar.
Reincarnated under the guidance of interior design by Penny De Castillo of Indesign International, both reflect Novotel's Mudjimba Beach address and cool coastal backdrop, transformed with muted decor in natural colors and timber finishes to compliment the resort's 14 hectares of natural bush land, manicured gardens and beach lined lagoon.

The Resort offers an extensive partner program including a taste of the true Sunshine Coast - be kissed by a seal or dive with the sharks at UnderWater World, enjoy a pamper treatment at the Lagoon Day Spa, and play a round of golf on the championship course at Novotel Twin Waters Resort. A dedicated circus school, Cirque Espace, also operates six days a week at the resort, with tailored programs available for incentive groups and for children during school holidays.
Other areas of the hotel recently renovated were unveiled to the public earlier this year, including a spacious and refreshed lobby reflecting the hotels clean, bright and inviting appeal.

An ideal meeting place for those with a taste for excellence in fine wines, local and imported beer and spirits, Aqua Lounge + Bar shares its waterfront views of the lagoon with Nouveau.
Famous for its reef, beef and family friendly buffets the new restaurant is tipped to become a dining favorite this summer with both indoor and outdoor open-air options for informal family gatherings or pre-dinner drinks at dusk.

The ever-evolving menus tempt patrons seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner (and as part of Novotel's family friendly ethos, children are invited to enjoy a complimentary breakfast with paying parents).
Different lunch and dinner menus are available daily - including a popular seafood buffet each Saturday night - with a welcoming wine menu introducing several local Queensland labels for those who wish to indulge in a true taste of the region.
